We are off and running!!

Dear Holy Trinity Families,

We are off and running as we get further into our holiday season!  Once we cleared the Halloween hurdle, things really got moving! Thank you for all your support and encouragement--this is much more fun that I could have ever imagined!

Please note the following important dates--especially our early release on 12/21 and NO AFTERNOON EDP on that one day.  Our EDP helpers deserve an early release day too as a small way to say thank you.

On Thursday, November 15th, we will host Holy Trinity’s 10th annual Thanksgiving Luncheon and Show!  The students are preparing a few songs, recitations, and our Kindness Club will perform a skit during each of the meal seatings.

        Pre-K, K     lunch 11:30
        1-4            lunch 11:55
        6-8            lunch 12:15

Following our Thanksgiving show, we will be preparing a very special Christmas Pageant.  Mark your calendars now for Thursday, December 13 at 6:00 P.M. All students in all classes will participate as choirs of angels, actors, and our youngest will enthrall you with the cutest finale you have ever seen!  After our program concludes, we will enjoy some refreshments and fellowship as Holy Trinity does so well!

As we are getting used to RenWeb, there is a useful feature we tested on Tuesday called Parent Alert.  Parent Alert allows the school to communicate with families, staff, and students in the event of an emergency.  As we are beginning to enter our time of year when weather can be unpredictable and sometimes inhibits our ability to get to school safely, this feature will help ensure our communications and keep everyone informed.
Also, regarding RenWeb, thank you with your patience as we had our first digital report card day. There are some glitches as we expected, but your feedback has been super helpful and we are on the path to making it better for round 2.

If we do need to delay school or close due to inclement weather, Holy Trinity will always follow the lead of SAU 30/Laconia School District.  We will also share this information on WMUR as well as via text from our Parent Alert system. Dr. Young sent out a test alert on Tuesday. If you didn’t receive one, let us know and we can help you have that tool ready to go.  In addition to the announcement from SAU 30/Laconia SD, you will also see an announcement

PreK Pet Food Drive: This is a pre-k service project; pre-k is 'taking care of God's creatures'. The pet food drive will run November 1 through Thanksgiving. Dry cat and dog food are the greatest need. Donations may be placed in boxes inside the main door, or dropped off in pre-k. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated! Please help our youngest students develop a spirit of stewardship.

They are decorated with a red bow, pine cones and berries. Wreaths will be delivered on or after November 24. An order form is available on the HTS website.

Holy Trinity Christmas Nativity Pageant: Join us on the evening of Thursday, December 13th for our school Christmas program.  This year will feature a students’ chorus, play presented by our junior high, and a finale by our Kindergarten and PreKindergarten classes.

NET (National Evangelization Team) THANK YOU:  Thank you so much to the parents who stepped up to help with food items, sandwiches and desserts: Stacie DeMatos, Bianca Dion, Donna Hosmer, Kelley Sedgley, Karen Tardif. Each of you was a blessing. It takes a lot of quiet angels to host NET. Thank you for your willingness to step forward. It was an amazing day for our Junior High students - truly a spirited, faith-filled day!  A huge shout out to Dr. Young for her willingness to approve this beautiful retreat day for our young people.

Would you be willing to cook 3 or 4 dinners a year for families in need (new baby, sickness, etc.)? It would be great to have a couple of people who would agree to have a main dinner ready to go (in the freezer), if needed, at the last minute. This is a wonderful HTS ministry and such a blessing to those who receive a dinner. It doesn’t need to be fancy. Everything would be sent in cooked. An occasional pizza gift certificate is a treat for a family in need.  Certainly, consider a dinner that your family enjoys! We ask that you use disposable containers or clearly mark your containers (to be returned). Please email Maggie, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you would like to be included in the list, or if you have questions. Thank you.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING UP FAST Gift cards make excellent stocking stuffers so purchase them through the HTS Scrip program (also supports HTS!!)

Here is how it works: (Please refer to the order form for percentages)

Say I plan a shopping day in Tilton and I buy 1 card each for: 99 restaurant (13%), Children's Place (12%), Old Navy (14%), Under Armour (11%), & Tanger Outlet (8%).

The Savings would be $14.50 which is split with HTS so $7.25 would go to HTS and then the other $7.25 can either go towards tuition, be donated back to HTS or can be given as a cash discount (computed BEFORE you write your check).

Go online to to see other available options/retailers.  Scrip is available ALL YEAR LONG but is most popular for HTS during the holidays.  If you have a home project and know you will be spending $2000 on appliances/home improvements at Home Depot or Lowe's why not buy gift cards to get a discount?! Buy them year-round for groceries, gas, coffee, and Walmart!!
