Our scholars are making very good progress!!

Dear Holy Trinity Families,

IMPORTANT!  We have entered our second quarter and our scholars are making very good progress!  As we have been sharing since school began, we have made a transition to RenWeb for our student information system management.  Part of this program is digital report cards.  I will be sending those reports to family via email tomorrow afternoon.  We do have the ability to make paper copies for any families who request one.  Please be patient with us as we try this next phase of our transition.  So far, even with minor glitches, we have had good results.  Fingers crossed this continues for our report cards.

As we enter our second quarter, our thoughts tend to veer toward the many joyous holidays we celebrate together.  After the festivities of Halloween, it’s hard to imagine more fun.  On Thursday, November 15th, we will host Holy Trinity’s 10th annual Thanksgiving Luncheon and Show!  The students are preparing a few songs, recitations, and our Kindness Club will perform a skit during each of the meal seatings.

Following our Thanksgiving show, we will be preparing a very special Christmas Pageant.  Mark your calendars now for Thursday, December 13 at 6:00 P.M.   All students in all classes will participate as choirs of angels, actors, and our youngest will enthrall you with the cutest finale you have ever seen!  After our program concludes, we will enjoy some refreshments and fellowship as Holy Trinity does so well!  Watch for more information as we get closer to our big performance.  (I am a little excited, can you tell?)

Reminders and News from the Office

Our newest fundraiser began Monday, 10/29 and will run through 11/25 through Fair Trade Caravans.  Families can order and pay for gifts, cards, and other items directly from home and get a head start on Christmas shopping while supporting Holy Trinity School.  25% of all sales go to HTS!  Fair Trade Caravans support global farmers and artisans by marketing and selling sustainably grown and handmade products from Africa, India, Asia, and South/Central America. See the enclosed informational flyer and get a start on your holiday shopping! Some samples are on the table in the main hallway. Take a peek here (  to preview some of the items available.  Orders will be delivered to the school and pick up arranged out of Dr. Young’s office.

PreK Pet Food Drive This is a pre-k service project; pre-k is 'taking care of God's creatures'. The Humane Society of Laconia has a pet food pantry to help families in the community feed their pets when they can't do it on their own. We will do a pet food drive to help the Humane Society restock their shelves. The pet food drive will run November 1 through Thanksgiving. Dry cat and dog food are the greatest need. Donations may be placed in boxes inside the main door, or dropped off in pre-k. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated! Please help our youngest students develop a spirit of stewardship.

Holiday Wreath Fundraiser The Eighth-Grade Class at Holy Trinity School is selling beautiful, decorated 22” Balsam fir wreaths. The wreaths are double sided and made locally in Franklin, NH. They are decorated with a red bow, pine cones and berries. Wreaths will be sent home with oldest student on Monday, November 26.   An order form is available on the HTS website.

Picture Retakes are scheduled for TOMORROW November 8th.

Thanksgiving Luncheon November 15.
Seating will follow the school lunch schedules.
